Report a Pothole or City Street Issue
Please report non-emergency street issues using the Pothole form. For emergencies relating to street issues during normal office hours, please report to the City of Gem Lake at 651-747-2790.
For after hours and weekends, please call White Bear Township Public Works at 651-755-9828.
Public Works emergencies that threaten the health and safety of our residents or our infrastructure include:
- Water Main Breaks
- Sewer Line Back Ups
- Other Emergencies
Report a Code Violation
Report a property code violation by filling out the Code Violation form and email to city@gemlakemn.org. Common violations include, tall grass, brush piles, vehicles stored outside, etc. If you wish to remain anonymous you may print out the form and drop through the mail slot after normal office hours.
Report an Illicit Discharge
Report an illicit discharge by filling out the illicit discharge form and email to city@gemlakemn.org. An illicit discharge is anything other than stormwater (rain and melting now) that enters a storm sewer system, ditch, river, stream or other body of water. Any waste pollution that enters a storm sewer system will flow directly to the nearest waterbody without treatment and may cause serious environmental damage.
